I think the last gig I went to was the Beanie Tapes takeover at Lion Coffee & Records in London on March 7th 2020. Jack Goldstein, Max Blansjaar and EB played, and it was a beautiful little gig. No masks.
When we arrived the guy who unlocked the doors gave us an awkward elbow bump (remember that short-lived craze?) but otherwise we were blissfully unaware of the impending lockdown.
What was the last gig you went to?
I have absolutely no idea, which makes me sad. I’m sure I went to something in February 2020, but I can’t remember what it was.
Songkick says I went to the Max Blansjaar and Aphra Taylor gig on the 20th March 2020, but that isn’t right, we were in lockdown by then.
i can confirm this gig did not happen. woulda been fun, though
